Sarah Rue, Ph.D.

Associate Director, Advanced Automation Technologies, GNF

Sarah received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Baylor University.  She obtained her
Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where she studied the assembly and budding of
lentiviruses with Janice Clements.  She then did a post-doc in Scott Emr’s lab at USCD, where she
characterized key proteins in the Multivesicular Body Protein Sorting Pathway.  Sarah joined the
Antibody Therapeutics group at GNF in 2007, and she now manages the Automation group at GNF.
